Anc Apponits 67-member Task Team For Kzn Reconfiguration

The African National Congress ANC has appointed a 67-member task team in KwaZulu-Natal. Secretary General Fikile Mbalula has unveiled the reconfigured KwaZulu-Natal leadership that will be headed by party veteran, Jeff Radebe, who is the Provincial Convener.

Mbalula says they remain determined to rebuild the organisation, stressing that the intervention seeks to strengthen the leadership of the province.

Mbalula says the intervention in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng is not a punitive measure. He says the new leadership is needed to stabilise the party and prepare for future elections.

Radebe will serve as Convenor and Mike Mabuyakhulu has been appointed as the Coordinator.

This follows the partys poor performance in last years national elections.
