'an Important Goal' - Ex-chelsea Star Eligible For Nigeria England Delighted After Scoring First Serie A Goal

Nigerian midfielder Faustino Adebola Rasheed Anjorin has expressed his joy after netting his first Serie A goal during Empolis thrilling 2-2 draw with Venezia on Sunday afternoon, Soccernet.ng reports .

Tino Anjorin , who previously had loan spells Lokomotiv Moscow, Huddersfield and Portsmouth, had only managed three assists in his first 17 matches for Empoli.

However, Anjorin provided the key contribution as Empoli avoided a home defeat against visiting Venezia.

Speaking after the match, the 22-year-old midfielder was delighted with his first Serie A goal but he was left unsatisfied that Empoli could not find a late winner.

Anjorin, who joined Empoli on a permanent deal from Chelsea last summer, came off the bench in the 77th minute to replace Liam Henderson.
