Former Nigeria international, Emmanuel Amuneke has backed Ademola Lookman to succeed Victor Osimhen as Africas best player.
Osimhen won the award last year after inspiring Serie A club, Napoli to win the Scudetto for the first time in over three decades.
His compatriot Lookman has been tipped to win the award this year following a remarkable campaign for club and country.
The 26-year-old scored three goals in seven appearances for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The winger was also the hero of Atalantas UEFA Europa League success scoring a hat-trick in the final against Bayer Leverkusen.
