The Niger Delta Sports Festival NDSFtorch tour berthed in Owerri, the Imo state capital even as the state concluded final trials for over 670 athletes that emerged from the local government and federal constituency trials.

Meanwhile, the festival Torch Light which commenced its tour of the nine mandate states of The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, arrived in Imo on Thursday, 27th of March.

The Festival Torch Lighting Ceremony in Imo held Thursday morning with the arrival of the Torch at the Dan Anyiam Stadium which was received by the states Festival Ambassador, Mr. Emmanuel Amunike, MFR.
