Amorim Vows United Revival After Liverpool Draw Level On 20 Titles

Ruben Amorim has urged Manchester United supporters to remain patient after Liverpool matched their club's proud record of 20 English top-flight titles.
United struggled once again in a 1-1 draw against 10-man Bournemouth on Sunday, needing a stoppage-time equaliser from Rasmus Hojlund to avoid another damaging defeat. Bournemouth had taken the lead through Antoine Semenyos 23rd-minute strike after a sloppy United free-kick, and it was only after Evanilson's controversial red card in the 70th minute that Amorim's men were able to salvage a point.
Meanwhile, Liverpool's crushing 5-1 victory over Tottenham at Anfield hours later secured their 20th league title, bringing them level with United for the most in English football history.
Addressing the achievement, Amorim urged a sense of realism while insisting that United could eventually rise to challenge again. The first thing is to focus on ourselves, not on the other teams, he said. The next thing is to be really honest. United and Liverpool are in different levels at this moment. But everything can change.
Reflecting on how the fortunes of the two clubs have shifted over the years, the United boss added: When I started watching the Premier League, it was the opposite. Everything can change.
