Amorim Relieved For Break Despite Man United's Upturn In Form

Ruben Amorim has acknowledged that his Manchester United squad is stretched to their limit, despite their steady improvement, following a convincing 3-0 victory over Leicester City on Sunday.
Goals from Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho ended their respective goal droughts, while Bruno Fernandes sealed the win at the King Power Stadium.
Though United remain 13th in the Premier League, they have shown signs of progress after a rocky start under Amorim. They are unbeaten in seven games, excluding penalty shootouts, and have secured a Europa League quarterfinal spot.
With an international break followed by the FA Cup quarterfinals, United will not be in action for the next two-and-a-half weeks. While the pause could disrupt their momentum, Amorim believes it is necessary for his depleted squad.
Unfortunately, we must stop when confidence is at its highest, Amorim admitted. But it's clear my players are at their limit. This break will be good for rest and recovery.
