Ghana vice-captain Richard Ofori has said goodbye to South African giants Orlando Pirates ahead of his move to AmaZulu FC.
The experienced goalkeeper parted ways with Pirates at the end of last season after his contract with the Buccaneers expired and he is now expected to join their Betway Premiership rivals AmaZulu on a short-term deal.
Ofori won four major trophies with the Buccaneers - lifting three MTN8 titles and the Nedbank Cup during his four-year stint with the 1995 CAF Champions League winners.
The past couple of years have been years of grace and power. I couldnt have been happier, more robust, focused and motivated than in a place Ive called home, Ofori wrote on his official Instagram page .
Being part of the Orlando Pirates brought new challenges, joy, huddles, and energy. The time has now come for me to open a new chapter in my career. I want to thank the entire Orlando Pirates family. The staff, technical team, medical staff, board members, management, and players. I couldnt have asked for a better working environment than this.
