Amantle Samane Murder Case Postponed To January Next Year

The case of a man accused of raping and murdering a six-year-old girl, in Soweto, Gauteng, has been postponed to the 27 th of January 2025 in the Protea Magistrates Court.

Mozambican national Pethe Simiao was arrested last month after a warrant of arrest was issued.

He is facing charges of kidnapping, rape and murder of Amantle Samane .

He also faces charges of contravention of the Immigration Act.

The accused made a brief appearance in the dock before his case was postponed after he abandoned his bail application.
