Amad Diallo Signs Long-term Manchester United Deal

Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has signed a new five-and-a-half-year contract, keeping him at the club until June 2030.

The 22-year-old's previous deal was set to expire this summer, though the club held an option to extend it by a year. Instead, United offered fresh terms following Diallo's standout season, with six goals in 27 appearances so far.

I am really proud to have signed this new contract, said Diallo . I've had some incredible moments here already, but there's so much more to come. I want to achieve history at Manchester United and make our supporters proud again.

Diallo joined United in 2021 from Italian side Atalanta and has scored nine goals in 50 appearances. He endured a slow start, making just nine appearances in his first three seasons, including loan spells at Rangers and Sunderland.

A season-long loan at Sunderland proved pivotal, where he netted 14 goals in 42 games. Despite offers from other clubs, United kept Diallo for the 2023-24 season under Erik ten Hag.
