Al Ahly striker Wessam Abou Ali continued his prolific scoring form on Sunday evening when he netted a hat-trick in a 4-0 win over Arab Contractors in the Egyptian Premier League.
The Palestinian attackers first hat-trick of the season took his tally to 18 goals, extending his lead at the top of the scorers chart to four goals.
Abou Ali is the first player to score a hat-trick for Al Ahly in the league since Mohamed Sherifs treble against Misr Lel Makasa in the 2020-21 season.
The 25-year-old has been exceptional since his move to Egypt in January to represent the Cairo giants, taking the league by storm with a one goal-per-game ratio.
Abou Ali has scored 10 goals in Al Ahlys last seven matches in the league, including three goals in the critical encounters against title rivals Pyramids FC.
