Airline-association Partnership To Boost Inbound Tourism
Southern Africa Tourism Services Association SATSA and Africas Eden have partnered with Air France-KLM a key development in the promotion of Southern Africa as a global tourism destination.
The collaboration integrates Air France-KLM into a network of more than 1 500 tourism operators across South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Namibia with plans to expand into Angola, Malawi, Mozambique and Madagascar this year.
According to SATSAs Chief Operations Officer, Hannelie du Toit , the partnership aims to increase the visibility of Southern Africas tourism offerings through Air France-KLMs global marketing platforms and campaigns.
Members of SATSA and Africas Eden will benefit from opportunities to showcase the regions unique travel experiences while connecting with international buyers and media through initiatives such as familiarisation trips, events and industry workshops.
Air France-KLMs involvement provides direct access to a focused network of tourism professionals. This affords opportunities for collaboration in solving key industry challenges and fostering connections with decision-makers within the Southern African tourism ecosystem.
