ActionSA says it will work with the African National Congress (ANC) to change the leadership of the Ekurhuleni and Tshwane Metros.
This follows the election of ActionSAs Nobuhle Mthembu as the new Speaker of the Johannesburg Council .
She replaces Margaret Arnolds who has now been appointed Finance MMC.
ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba says, should they get a mandate, they will unseat Cilliers Brink as the Executive Mayor of Tshwane.
Ekurhuleni and Tshwane will be next. As ActionSA, we are busy consulting with our structures. Yesterday, I had a very successful meeting with our PEC [Provincial Executive Committee] in Gauteng. Early next week, well have meetings with our REC [Regional Executive Committee] in Tshwane and our caucus.
