ActionSA says the appointment of Forum 4 Service Delivery leader Mbhahare Kekana as the deputy president of the party is with immediate effect.

Forum 4 Service Delivery has merged with ActionSA and will contest the 2026 local government elections under the ActionSA umbrella.

The announcement was made by ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba in Johannesburg today.

It is therefore with great pleasure ladies and gentlemen that I carry out the mandate of ActionSA senate and other structures to welcome Dr Kekana as Deputy President of ActionSA with immediate effect. So, Im sure you can understand and all of you agree with me, because our structures both ActionSA and Forum for Service Delivery, we realize that for the sake of our country we need constitutional changes to accommodate to have a Deputy President in our party.

The Forum 4 Service Delivery, which was formed in 2015, currently holds 38 municipal seats in five provinces.
