Former African National Congress (ANC) president Thabo Mbeki , says the partys actions, not words, will be crucial in determining if it can win back support from the electorate.
Mbeki was addressing the Free State ANC renewal convocation in Welkom.
Since Friday, serious matters that include the decline of the ANC electoral dividends since 2009 have been at the centre stage of the meeting.
To the practical actions if we are in government at national level, in government in the province, in government in municipalities, the population expect that those institutions of the government must indeed respond in terms of goals and services expected of government. Im very glad that this meeting of the PEC recognises that, that as a province, weve heard the people of the province what theyve said via these elections.
