Defence counsel, Adv. Charles Mnisi has raised concern over the alleged harsh conditions accused number three in the Senzo Meyiwa murder tria l has been subjected to in prison.
Mthobisi Mncube has been incarcerated at the Kgosi Mampuru prison in Pretoria since 2020.
Mncube and four others are on trial at the High Court in Pretoria for the 2014 murder of the Bafana Bafana captain
Mnisi says he has been kept in solitary confinement since then, which infringes on his basic human rights.
He has asked the high court to intervene in the matter.
