The new Chairman of the Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Abayomi Tella has said the party would be rejuvenated, rebuilt, rejigged and repositioned for success in the future.
He made the comments after he was elected Chairman of the partys State Congress, supervised by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, held in Abeokuta, on Saturday.
He assured that his leadership would restore the partys heritage and identity as a ruling party.
Tella, the former chairman of the Ado-Odo/Ota local government area of the state emerged as the party's chairman with Sunday Solarin as his secretary.
He maintained that despite the shenanigans of the ruling APC in Ogun State that manipulated itself back to power in 2023, there was no opposition in the state.
