Sonia, the estranged wife of the Nigerian footballer, Jude Ighalo, has publicly apologised to him following their social media controversies amid separation.
Sonia tendered the apology on Tuesday in a now-trending post on Instagram.
While sharing the memories of their time together, she described the footballer as a "wonderful man."
She wrote on Instagram: "Many individuals assert that I possess powerful, mysterious allure, which is why Im particularly cautious about the people I allow into my life. Ending a relationship or friendship is always challenging for me.
"My beloved superstar, we have journeyed far together, and I am truly grateful for the grace God has bestowed on our lives. We both struggled to make this work, even in the face of divorce. I understand how careful you were to keep your family in the dark about what was happening behind closed doors, knowing that it would start another fight.
