The Gauteng Education Department says 12 of the 110 learners from Tamaho Primary School in Katlehong remain hospitalised after suspected food poisoning .
The learners began experiencing stomach cramps and vomiting after eating samp during break time at school.
Gauteng Education spokesperson, Steve Mabona, says 98 learners were discharged.
