A total of ?82.4 billion was lost in five of some of the most popular fraud and hack cases on Nigerian financial institutions. Interestingly, the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) revealed that only 37% of financial institutions complied with reporting fraud incidents while 63% did not.
