677kw Raging Bull: Lamborghini's Temerario Unveiled In South Africa - Here's How Much It Costs

677kw raging bull lamborghinis temerario unveiled in south africa heres how much it costs

Lamborghinis local importer ripped the covers off the Italian brands all-new Temerario supercar at an event held in Johannesburg this week.

Replacing the Huracn as the marques entry-level supercar, the Temerario ushers in a new hybrid powertrain and will hit showrooms at an eye-watering price of R7,250,000.

The newcomer swaps its predecessors normally aspirated V10 for a brand new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 motor that pairs with three electric motors to deliver total outputs of 677kW and 730Nm. That's sufficient, Lamborghini says, to thrust it from zero to 100km/h in 2.7 seconds.

Despite being turbocharged, the V8 motor revs up to an impressive 10,000rpm, with peak power produced in the range between 9,000 and 9,750rpm. An electric motor, positioned between the petrol motor and the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, allows for instantaneous and lag-free acceleration off the mark.

The two axial flow electric motors positioned on the front axle, produce a combined 220kW and enable all-wheel drive when additional traction and power is required.
