33-year-old Man Accused Of Raping Infant Abandons Bail Application

The community of Virginia, Free State, came out in their numbers to support the family of the two-year-old child. The father was arrested last week following a complaint of suspected child neglect at a flat in Virginia.

Pictures are making rounds showing bruises on the child from her face to her lower body. Following the incident, the child was taken to hospital. Its alleged that the child had also been raped. Its also reported that the suspect is also facing other rape charges.

The suspect was apprehended last week Tuesday after police reacted to a complaint at a block of flats in the town.

Angry community members say they are angry after a 33-year-old father appeared briefly in the local magistrates court for the alleged rape and attempted murder of his baby girl.
