The event will bring together leaders from government, business, and international organizations to explore new ways to advance Zambias digital economy and to further accelerate its digital transformation.
Zoho Corp. has been operating in Zambia for five years and aims to contribute to the countrys economic sustainability and support its extensive digitalization efforts.
We see Zambia as a promising market for growth and expansion, stated Andrew Bourne, Regional Manager of Zoho Africa.
Zohos primary goal is to make innovative solutions both accessible and affordable for businesses of all sizes. This mission is reflected in their investment of resources to cater to emerging markets, empowering individuals and organizations alike. The company, which has been in operation for 29 years, employs around 15,000 people and serves over 100 million users across more than 50 countries.
Bourne explained that Zoho offers over 55 business applications, including tools for sales, marketing, HR, payments, and finance. We have more than half a million registered organizations that are paying customers, he added.
In addition, Zoho has increasingly collaborated with government bodies and public sector organizations across Africa and globally.
Looking ahead, we plan to continue leading the charge in the Middle East and Africa MEA region, with a goal of making Africa our No. 1 market. We are committed to supporting Zambias goal of becoming a fully digitalized, upper-middle-income economy. Our mission is to help Zambia achieve its digital transformation by reducing technical barriers for SMEs and large businesses, Bourne concluded.
