A 14-year-old boy was fatally shot after gunmen opened fire in Ravensmead earlier this morning, Tuesday 19 November.
Two other teenagers were wounded, while a 55-year-old male who had been standing a few metres from the scene was also shot, Cape town Etc reports.
Reports from the scene have indicated that the children were on their way to school when the shooting occurred.
Two gunmen, also in a vehicle, began firing shots in Donnegal Street, which consequentially killed one learner while injuring two others.
The 55-year-old man, who had been shot while standing a few metres away from the scene, is currently receiving medical care. It is unclear whether the two shooting incidents are related to one another.
