22-year-old Cape Town Resident Assaulted In Vredehoek

On Sunday, 26 January 2025, Nicole Smal was attacked in the well-known Cape Town suburb in broad daylight, while on her way to her friends home, Cape town Etc reports.

Nicol shared a post to social media, detailing the incident which had left her with a fractured skull , a broken nose and a burst ear drum.

Commenting on her decision to publicly share the incident, she said I can only hope it will bring some light to the ongoing problem we are facing.

According to the 22-year-old, she was on her way to deliver flowers to her friend and had gotten out of her car to wait at the gate of her friends home. The suspect then snuck up behind her, repeatedly hitting her with a brick in the back of her head as well as in her face.

He proceeded to take her phone and run away.
