The Allied Conservative Congress, ACC, has said it is on a rescue mission to save Nigeria from self-seeking politicians masquerading as democrats.
The political movement said that national interest should at all times supersede partisan politics and personal aggrandizement.
The National Chairman, Rev. Olusegun Peters, made this known at the National Executive Committee, NEC, meeting of the ACC in Abuja on Thursday.
ACC noted that the state of the nation at this point is very bad, with patriotism lacking in most leaders and citizens, adding that the ship of the Nigeria state is drifting.
Peters noted that there is the desire to change from the illusive progressivism that impedes the nations democracy to conservatism that will foster unity, equity, morality, security and prosperity.
