2026 Wcq: Rohr Names Country That Wont Qualify From Group C

Benin Republic Coach, Gernot Rohr, has insisted that Zimbabwe stand no chance of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.

This was following their 2-2 draw with Benins Cheetahs in the Match Day 5 in the Group C of the African qualifying series on Thursday evening.

Benin Republic gave up a 2-0 lead, allowing Zimbabwe to secure a 2-2 draw, with Marshall Munetsi and Knowledge Musona scoring for Zimbabwe to cancel out first half strikes from Steve Mounie and Dokou Dodo.

South Africa now tops the Group C following their 2-0 win against Lesotho.

Though Zimbabwe are seven points behind group leaders, South Africa, Rohr believes they would fight to finish against Nigeria in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on Tuesday evening.
