Coach Hugo Broos has successfully led the team, gaining the admiration of fans despite various challenges. The South African Football Association SAFA is collaborating with Broos to address these challenges to ensure Bafana Bafana's participation in the World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. South Africa, in Group C along with Nigeria, Benin, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, and Lesotho, has seven points from four matches, with six more games to play next year. To improve performance, SAFA has decided to charter flights for all away games, eliminating the impact of connecting flights and airport wait times. Broos supports this move, having experienced its benefits with a recent direct flight from Uganda to Cape Town.
