16-year-old Found Safely After Missing Child Alert Circulated Social Media

Wynberg Girls High School reported one of its learners as missing earlier today, 20 January. The child was last seen when she was dropped off outside the school premises in Wynberg around 6h40am. The missing child however was found in the early hours of the evening and has been returned home safely, Cape town Etc reports.

Wynberg Girls High School shared with the public that the teenager had gone missing, stating we are deeply concerned about one of our learners, Madison Zoe Wheeler, who is currently missing. We are working closely with her family and SAPS to locate her whereabouts.

The Pink Ladies Organisation , an independent group of volunteers which was established for the primary purpose of reuniting missing and endangered children with their families, was involved in searching for the 16-year-old.

Wheeler allegedly entered another unknown vehicle outside the premises of the school, after she had been dropped off for school.

Further details regarding the incident have yet to be disclosed but the high school has confirmed the location and safety of Wheeler.
